This course enables you to create a variety of simulated injuries and character make-up designs using specialized make-up products and techniques suitable for film, television, stage and theatre

Pre-requisite:   Certificate II in Make-up Services or Make-up Artistry Techniques or the equivalent or evidence of industry knowledge

A model is required for each day of training

Outline:

• Create simulated injuries: Scars, Scratches, Cuts, Gashes Bullet Wounds, Bruises, Cold Sores Burns, Gravel Rash
  
• Create prosthetic pieces
  
• Ageing with latex
  
• Create make-up  for stage and theatre: Basic stage, ballet and character faces: Young, Old, Lean, Stout
  
• Character analysis techniques, continuity and scenarios
  
• Make-up design in relation to theatre size and effects of lighting
